WE save the environment

Society disregards overpopulation, deforestation, pollution, and combustion as it slowly kills the environment.
Climate change, poor air quality, and undrinkable water are all outcomes of human irresponsibility.
The land we call our home is slowly plummeting into destruction under the fate of our own actions, and
there are no major actions taking course. It is time for a change. My oil painting shows a human foot connecting
with a daisy flower. Daisies mean new beginnings, hope, and affection, therefore, we must strive to create a new
beginning for the wellness of this planet. The foot represents the need for humans to be humble and realize
that we have to put our egos down to connect with nature. My painting portrays that we, as the youth,
must take the responsibility of the world and humble ourselves to realize our problems and save the environment.
After all, we are a part of nature, and it is our sacred duty and privilege to protect the Earth. People say
the new generation is the change, so, as a member of it, we must acknowledge humanity's destruction and
collectively say, "WE save the environment."
