columnist and senior staff writer for Khaosod English
(Fresh News), a website established in 2013 that
publishes critical coverage of Thailand’s junta. Before
that, he worked for more than 20 years with the local
English-language newspaper The Nation.

Solafa Sallam

Winner of Courage in Journalism Award 2020, Fellow of United Nations' Reham al-Farra Memorial, & Journalist for Women Human Rights Defenders International Coalition

Solafa Sallam is a Multimedia Reporter and Human Rights Defender, she was imprisoned almost two years in the jail in Egypt for her journalistic work and defending human rights based in Paris, France.

In 2020, she won the prestigious Courage in Journalism Award from the International Women's Media Foundation (IWMF). On April 27, 2020, the Washington Post Press Freedom Partnership spotlighted Sallam, She facing murder threats, detention and lifetime prison sentences simply for doing her jobs-reporting the truth and holding the powerful to account.

On December 2020, The Mayor of Paris granted her the French honorary citizenship, honoring her for her work. Her news reports and features have covered the political transition and social unrest in Egypt, sexual harassment in Egyptian society, minority rights, women's rights, education, human rights, and refugees.

Cod Satrusayang is the current Editor-in-Chief of
the Thai Enquirer and Vice-Chairman of the
Houston Street Media.

Before that, Cod was the Managing Editor of Asia
News Network, Senior Correspondent for Reuters,
and a journalist for CNN. He was also the Chief
Correspondent of Deutsche Presse Agentur, a
German news agency, and a Radio Host at Radio
Thailand World Service.

Cod spoke at the One Young World Bangkok special
event in 2015.

Bangkok, Thailand.

Pim’s short stories, poems, and articles have been
published in various websites, literary magazines
and journals, including the Mekong Review, the
Nikkei Asian Review, Den of Geek, and YesPoetry.

Her debut novel, The Moon Represents My Heart,
will be published by OneWorld Publications in the
UK in Spring 2023, with Italian rights bought by
Keller Editore. Television rights sold after a
competitive auction to 21 Laps and Netflix, with
actress Gemma Chan set to star and produce.
