Hello! My name is Jia Lee, and I'm Korean-Thai. I am currently studying at Ruamrudee International School in Thailand. Some of my hobbies are reading and writing.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The Witches, The BFG, and many more. All of these books have been written by the British author Roald Dahl, many of which you may have heard of or even read as a child. Born in 1916, he became famous for his children’s literature, before passing on the 23rd of November in 1990. However, recent changes made to these stories to make them more “acceptable” in the modern world have brought on a flood of conflicting complaints and support from critics, fans, readers, and writers alike.
Like many other schools, Ruamrudee International School has a wide variety of clubs, and for each of them, a team of executives who work hard to direct it. Many challenges come with having a leadership position, and many of you may be unsure about having one. Gavin from EducatoryX and our very own Editor-in-Chief of The Union International (currently independently-run), Pear, have answered some questions relating to their experience in leading a club.
On October 6th, 2022, a daycare was attacked in Uthai Sawan, Nong Bua LamPhu province, Thailand, by former police officer Panya Khamrab. As a result, 37 people died and many more were injured, most of whom were children.
