Submission Rationale

This piece portrays the amalgamation of cultures through planets and flowers. I have always felt that growing up
with a multicultural background could be compared to creating a new planet - a unique and personal environment
that contains a blend of many cultures. Through various experiences and encounters with many people around
the world, I have come to realize that I do not have to choose one place when asked, “Where are you from?”
because I have many identities, not just one.
